AAS08: MASAI MARA, THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY & TREE HOTEL

Masai Mara | Rift Valley | Tree Hotel (4 days) Departs 08.00hrs daily

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara. The tour goes along the floor of the Great Rift Valley past Mt. Longonot, an extinct volcano, and reaches the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of the finest reserves in time for lunch. This is followed by an afternoon game drive where a variety of animals can be seen. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge, Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Sarova Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara - Rift Valley. An early morning game drive is provided before breakfast to spot more game. After breakfast we cross the Rift Valley to either Lake Naivasha or Lake Nakuru. Lake Naivasha being an area of captivating views with a large species of birds whereas Lake Nakuru is famous for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the Pink Lake. At either, there are comfortable accommodations for your overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp.
         
Day 3: Rift Valley - Tree hotel. After breakfast we leave the Rift Valley and drive north to the Aberdare mountain forests. Overnight accommodations at Treetops would require a check in at The Outspan, whereas overnight at The Ark would require a check in at the Aberdare Country Club. After lunch guests are taken into the forest in 4 wheel drive vehicles to spend the night at the Tree hotel, which has, floodlit waterholes for night game viewing. Dinner and overnight at The Ark, Treetops or Mountain Lodge.

Day 4: Tree hotel - Nairobi. After breakfast the tour returns to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch.
