AAS25: MT KENYA SAFARI CLUB, SAMBURU GAME RESERVE & TREE HOTEL

Tree hotel | Samburu | Mt. Kenya Safari Club (3½ days) Departs 09:00hrs daily

Day 1: Nairobi - Tree hotel. The drive from Nairobi to Nyeri is approx. 21/2 hours passing through the green farmlands. Visitors staying at Treetops are provided lunch at Outspan Hotel whereas visitors staying at the Ark will lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. After lunch transport is provided in four wheel vehicles to the Ark or Treetops which are strategically situated for night game viewing. Dinner and overnight at The Ark, Treetops or Mountain Lodge.

Day 2: Tree hotel - Samburu. After breakfast proceeds further north entering the warm and drier of semi desert area stretching to Kenya's boundary with Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan. The Samburu National Reserve has all the big five and the Uaso Nyiro River, which flows through the game reserves, is infested with crocodiles. Lunch is provided at the lodge and the afternoon is spent exploring the park. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Lodge, Samburu Serena Lodge or Larsen’s Camp.

Day 3: Tree hotel - Mt. Kenya Safari Club. After breakfast we drive north to an area around the foothills of Mt. Kenya, checking into the famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club formerly owned by William Holden. Its landscaped gardens provide a wonderful view of the Mt. Kenya. Meals and overnight at the club.

Day 4: Mt. Kenya Safari Club - Nairobi. After breakfast the tour returns to Nairobi arriving around lunch time.
