3 Days Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro crater safari

A safari to the breathtaking and scenic Lake Manyara together with Ngorongoro crater which is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera

Day1: -Arusha-Lake Manyara
Departure from your Arusha Hotel at 8.30 for Lake Manyara in time for lunch at your lodge followed by afternoon gamedrive. Lake Manyara attractions include its birdlife, its elusive tree-climbing lions, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, ostrich, a big population of hipos and a scenic setting below the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley (LD)

Day2: -Lake Manyara-Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast at 6.00hrs then descend to Ngorongoro Crater with packed picnic lunch to enjoy its high wildlife concentration and close range viewing. Ngorongoro Crater’s attractions include lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, thompson’s gazelles, zebras, reedbucks and flamingoes wading in the soda lake at the base of the crater. After lunch continue game viewing in the afternoon ascending the crater back for dinner and overnight at your lodge (BLD).

Day3: -Arusha
 After breakfast drive back to Arusha and drop off at your hotel in time for lunch. End of safari (B).

What you need to bring on safari:
    Money for personal spending and tipping
    A pair of long trousers and jersey for the cool mornings and evenings in addition to plenty of light clothes for hot days (do not forget a hat), swim suit, a pillow, comfortable shoes/sandals and snacks
    Torch, sunglasses, suntan lotion, insect repellent/spray but not mosquito coils
    Camera, memory cards, binoculars, maps, guide-books
    Toiletries eg tooth brush, paste etc.
